The Photoshop Elements Guided Edits are a fun and easy way to quickly add improvements and effects to photos but they have their limitations. Most of the edits can be better handled and with more control in the Photoshop Elements Expert Mode but there are several that either speed things up or can't be done in Expert Mode.
